Privacy

Your health data is yours. We just look after it.

Diabetes care asks you to share some of the most personal information you have. Here is exactly what we collect, why we need it, and the control you keep over it at every step.

Kept private, shared only with your care team

01

Your privacy, in plain words

Sugar360 is a diabetes care brand operated by Zenvia Health Private Limited (also referred to as "Zenvia Health", "Sugar360", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in India with its office in Siliguri, West Bengal.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use the Sugar360 website, the Sugar360 mobile application and our care services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it simple and free of legal clutter.

By using our website, app or services, you agree to the practices described here. If anything is unclear, please write to us and we will be happy to explain.

02

Information we collect

We ask for the information we need to look after you well, and not much more. It falls into four groups.

Information you give us, for example when you register, book a consultation or fill in a form on our website:

  • Contact and identity details such as your name, mobile number, email address, city, age and gender.
  • Account details such as your login credentials and preferences.
  • Messages you send us through a form, email, phone or chat.

Health information, which you or your care team record as part of your treatment:

  • Blood sugar readings, HbA1c and other test results, blood pressure, height and weight.
  • Medication details, prescriptions, diagnoses and notes from your consultations.
  • Diet, activity and lifestyle entries you choose to log.
  • Reports or images you upload to your record.

Information collected automatically when you use the website or app:

  • Device and app details such as device model, operating system version, app version and language.
  • Usage and diagnostic data such as the features you use, crash reports and performance logs.
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address, used to keep your account secure.

Information from your care team, such as consultation records, follow up notes and care plans created by the doctors and clinics you consult through Sugar360.

03

How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

  • Provide your care, by creating and maintaining your health record and sharing it with the doctor and care team treating you.
  • Support you between visits, with reminders for medicines, tests and follow ups.
  • Answer your questions and provide help when you need it.
  • Run and improve the website and app, fix problems and understand which features genuinely help people stay on track.
  • Keep your account and our services secure.
  • Meet the record keeping and legal obligations that apply to healthcare providers in India.
  • Share updates about Sugar360 programmes where you have agreed to hear from us. You can opt out at any time.

We do not sell your personal or health information, and we do not use your health information to show you advertisements.

04

Permissions the app asks for

The Sugar360 app may ask for a few device permissions. Each one is optional, is requested only when you use the feature that needs it, and can be turned off any time from your device settings:

  • Camera and photos, so you can capture or upload prescriptions, lab reports and meter readings.
  • Notifications, so we can send you medicine, test and appointment reminders.
  • Files or storage, so you can save and attach documents to your record.

If you decline a permission, only that feature is affected. The rest of the app continues to work.

05

Who we share it with

We share your information only in these situations:

  • With your care team, meaning the doctors, clinics, educators and coordinators involved in your treatment.
  • With service providers who help us operate, such as hosting, storage, communication and support partners. They work on our instructions, under contract, and only for the purpose we specify.
  • With people you ask us to include, such as a family member or caregiver you want kept in the loop.
  • Where the law requires it, for example a valid request from a court, government or regulatory authority, or where sharing is needed to protect the safety of a patient, our team or the public.
  • As part of a business transfer, if Zenvia Health is involved in a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets. This policy continues to apply to your information.

We do not share your health information with advertisers or data brokers.

06

How we keep it safe

Your information is stored on secured servers. We protect it with encryption while it travels, access controls so that only the people involved in your care can see it, authentication requirements, and regular reviews of our systems.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as we need it to provide continuity of care, resolve any disputes and meet the medical record keeping rules that apply to us in India. Information we no longer need is deleted or anonymised.

No system can promise perfect security, so please help us by keeping your login details private.

07

Your choices

At any time, you can:

  • Ask to see the personal and health information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it.
  • Withdraw a consent you gave earlier, including app permissions.
  • Unsubscribe from our updates using the link in the message or by writing to us.

To do any of this, write to us at sugar360care@gmail.com. We will confirm it is really you before we act on the request, and respond as quickly as we reasonably can.

08

Deleting your account and data

You can ask us to delete your Sugar360 account and the data associated with it by emailing sugar360care@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account", or by calling us at +91 85360 82360.

Once we have verified the request, we will delete your account and personal data within 30 days. A limited set of clinical and transaction records may be retained for the period Indian law requires. Anything retained stays secure and is not used for any other purpose.

09

Children and young users

Our services are meant for adults. Anyone under 18 may use Sugar360 only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts this policy on their behalf.

We do not knowingly collect information from a child without that consent. If you believe this has happened, please tell us and we will remove it.

10

Other services we link to

Our website and app may link to services we do not run, such as app stores, payment providers, diagnostic labs or our social media profiles. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. It is worth reading their policies before you share anything with them.

11

Updates to this policy

As our services grow, we may update this policy. The current version will always be available on this page, and where a change is significant we will let you know in the app, by email or through a notice on our website. Continuing to use the services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
